Hear Harrison’s New Song With Maddee, “How Can It Be”
His latest EP drops April 7 on Last Gang Records.
If there's one thing that SoundCloud has taught us, it's that age is merely a number when it comes to producers. At age 19, Toronto-based Harrison is crafting vocal-driven, percussive tracks with whimsical synths and verbed-out atmospherics. "How Can It Be," featuring previous collaborator and singer-songwriter Maddee, is a great example of his sound, full of the same playfulness embodied by peers like Ryan Hemsworth and Diveo.
"This was one of the first tracks I did with Maddee and it was funny at the time because she's my friends little sister so she would always come over for sessions," Harrison told the FADER in an email. "I had also invited friends over. There was about 5 people in the room when it was being made. They were just chilling on their phones or playing video games or whatever and would go quiet when Maddee said she needed quiet. It was very cute." Harrison's EP colors will be out April 7th via Last Gang Records.
