The May 18 release date for Rainer's debut LP Water steady inches closer, and today the off-kilter pop duo out of London have broken off a second and seductive preview of what's to come (previously, "Nocturn"). This new song, "Marry," was one of the first songs written for the album and is, in the group's telling, "about getting out of your comfort zone and saying no to something familiar and easy in favour of moving forward." And interestingly, the shadowy and voluptuous number was first conceived of as something fit for a David Lynch production, they say: "It started life as a slower Twin Peaks/Julie Cruise type of song, which we reworked into something darker and more slinky to fit with some of our newer songs on the album." Listen to "Marry" below; Water arrives May 18 via Kissability / Algebra.
