Taraji P. Henson’s Nicki Minaj Impression Is On Point

As part of her hosting duties on last night's Saturday Night Live, Empire's towering matriarch Cookie Lyon—aka Taraji P. Henson—took part in a sketch that advertised an imagined sequel to Rihanna's animated blockbuster Home. The sketch, which you can watch in full above, featured "appearances" from Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross and Missy Elliott; but Henson stole the show with her pink-wigged and loud-mouthed take on Nicki Minaj. It's not quite a micro-impression (as nailed by the girls of Broad City), but that six second loop in the Vine below pretty much nails the schizophrenic essence of Nicki's persona.
