Dutch Producer GANZ Channels Springtime Euphoria On “Dino War”
This dance track goes all in.
The dance producer's most important trick is the element of surprise, and Dutch artist GANZ is clearly aware of this. After garnering attention for his playful remixes, he's now releasing an EP of his own work—out April 20th via UK producer Plastician's Terrorhythm label—that shows his range as a producer. "Dino War," his first single from the EP, features a barrage of buzzing synths, rapid-fire hand claps, and bold rhythms. In other words, it's a perfect match for the exhilaration of early spring—but apparently it's not what fans will be expecting. "It's basically against what a lot of people want me to make," GANZ told The FADER over email. "Everyone was asking for catchy, feel-good tracks after I made that Hyperparadise remix last year. 'Dino War' is a reflection of how I felt at the moment I made it and not what the people wanted to hear." Follow your heart, GANZ.
