Last February, president of urban music at RCA and CEO of ByStorm Entertainment Mark Pitts let slip that Miguel was "90 percent" done with his follow-up to his excellent 2013 album Kaleidoscope. Miguel has now confirmed this news, announcing that the new album, which will be titled Wildheart, will be released this summer. The first single is "Coffee"—which was originally featured on a surprise EP—and it's newly-released remix featuring Wale. There have been additional whispers about Miguel working with Jai Paul and his brother, as well as Hudson Mohawke.
