Last month Australia's 300 Entertainment-signed singer Meg Mac released a self-titled EP featuring "Roll Up Your Sleeves," a folky, infectious just-do-you anthem. "Sometimes it is easier to pretend you don't care and it's harder to do what you know is the right thing," Mac told The FADER of the song, which encourages listeners to go and drop the freak. "That's where I started this song and it ended up being almost like a letter I was writing from myself to myself."
The song sounds primed to back an emotionally climactic scene on your fave dram-com: maybe when Piper shakes off Alex (again) on Orange Is The New Black season three, or while Caitlyn Jenner and the girls tearily embrace on her upcoming E! special—but the video is not that. It's black-and-white, airy, and really lovely. Watch above—it's one for the road, before Mac heads out on tour with D'Angelo and The Vanguard next week (dates below).
