In a hilarious new Bleacher Report video, prospects from last night’s NBA draft take turns delivering choice lines from Drake songs. Some of these are basketball related—Jerian Grant, for example, recites a line from “The Motto:” every day, every day, like we sittin on the bench, nigga, we don't really play. But the funnier ones are non-hoops-themed. Sam Dekker and Frank Kaminsky, whose Wisconsin team lost the NCAA final to Duke earlier this year, take on “Blessed”—though its not wise to compete with Riley Curry—and “Know Yourself.” Vincent Hunter and Devin Booker turn “Headlines” into a solemn therapy session. The best might be around the 30 second mark, when 5 picks gravely recite the hook to “Make Me Proud.”
Watch below—other songs include “10 Bands,” “Know Yourself,” “Started From The Bottom,” “Best I Ever Had,” “Over My Dead Body,” “Over,” and the MC’s verse from Fetty Wap’s “My Way.” You can also check out Drake’s recent interview with FADER TV.
