As part of a show last night in San Diego, J. Cole played “Power Trip,” a Miguel collaboration that was the most successful single released from his 2013 album Born Sinner. But this performance was unusual: as the MC sang along to the hit’s hook, a fan threw an iPhone at Cole and clocked him in the face. In a video from the show, the rapper gives a look like “really?” Then he reaches down, picks up the phone, and puts it in his pocket.
