Dre Skull first visited Kingston in 2010 and says he swiftly became "further and further drawn into the music and the culture." He'd fallen for Jamaica's sound many years earlier, through the records of reggae legend Lee "Scratch" Perry, but that first trip sealed his love affair with the island itself. The Mixpak Records boss went on to both produce and release a series of essential dancehall records, including FADER cover star Popcaan's 2014 album, Where We Come From. Watch Dre return to his favorite place with The FADER and Palladium, linking with Popcaan and rising dancehall star Chi Ching Ching in the studio, checking out the soundsystems on the beach, and soaking up that good life vibe.
