Starting this November, Jamie Hewlett—the artist and designer who, along with Damon Albarn, founded Gorillaz—will display some of his recent artwork at the Saatchi Gallery in London.
The exhibit will cover three strands of his output: one inspired by Tarot cards and the director Alejandro Jodorowsky, another that draws on the "exploitation movies of the 60s and 70s," and a third that includes Hewlett's "extraordinarily detailed" drawings of trees he encountered in the south of France. Prints from the show are on sale here, and the exhibit will run from November 18 to December 2.
In July, Damon Albarn announced that he's planning to start recording a new Gorillaz album.
