Drake is DJing before the mixtape starts.

So far he's shown love to Section Boyz, SAS and Skooly, 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, and Two-9. Where can we find that chopped 'n screwed Hotline Bling remix though? Wheeewww.

Was that PARTYNEXTDOOR we heard over Ty Dolla $ign's Blasé?
Drake spent 6 days in Atlanta with Future to record the songs.

Drake: "I went to Atlanta for 6 days a couple weeks ago in the hopes of doing some songs. When you get around it’s like a vortex... that guy could probably outwork anybody right now. He has a natural work ethic that just it’s tough to make someone make 4, 5 songs a night and not want to match it. I went to Atlanta, we went made some songs, and made an entire tape, which is a blessing."

Metro Boomin produced 8 of the songs on the album.

"Diamonds Dancing" had everyone in their feelings. Hats off to Metro Boomin (who also executive-produced the project).

"Classic" Drake really came through on "30 for 30 Freestyle."

Produced by – who else – Noah "40" Shebib.

WATTBA was released under Cash Money Records Inc. With Epic Records.

According to the official iTunes page, What A Time To Be Alive is being released under Cash Money Records Inc. With Epic Records. For reference, his first project of 2015 If You're Reading This It's Too Late was released under Cash Money/OVO Sound/Republic Records; and despite Drake calling that album "a mixtape" it still counted towards his contract with YMCMB as his fourth album. Does this mean that WATTBA is Drake's last album with Cash Money?
