Sipprell Premieres Soul-Searching New Single “Essence”

With the release of her debut EP on the horizon, London singer, songwriter, and studied musician Sipprell has shared a serpentine and soul searching new track called "Essence." Featuring textural electronic-inspired production by London collective The Citrus Clouds as well as Sipprell herself on the violin, it is a song about soul searching—or as Sipprell put it in an email to The FADER, "about feeling like you've lost yourself because of a challenging time."

"Usually we come out of tough experiences changed in some way," she added. "I wrote this song about wanting to let go of the past and feel like myself again."
