Watch Sam Smith’s “Writing’s On The Wall” Video

The visual for Sam Smith's James Bond theme song arrived over the weekend. In the "Writing's On The Wall" clip—not to be confused with a similarly-titled Anthony Hamilton track—shots of the singer are interspersed with footage from Spectre, which looks like it will be full of glowering actors, dark lighting, and imposing stone structures. Luke Monaghan directed the video.

According to Billboard, "Writing's On The Wall" recently went to No. 1 on the U.K. singles chart—making it the first Bond theme song to ever top the chart. Look for Spectre November 6, and revisit Smith's FADER cover story.
