At the end of this month, storied producer Madlib will deliver a collaborative album he's cooked up with Stones Throw mainstay MED and L.A. rapper Blu. The project has already given us a Madlib and MF DOOM reunion with "Knock Knock," and today the trio deliver another new track, "Finer Things." It's a breezy, jazzy-inflected track featuring cameos from Foreign Exchange's Phonte and Likewise. MED and Blu told The FADER that it is "one of our favorite tracks off the album."
"It’s an honor to share such a dope beat with A-class artists,” they added, reiterating a point made mid song: It sound royal when you let Madlib design sound for you.
