Bieber's latest track is nimble in the same manner as "What Do You Mean:" The rhythm is breezy and danceable but never overly-aggressive; in place of the pan-flute-like sound that spilled through "What Do You Mean," "Sorry" incorporates a light horn-riff and a high vocal sample. During the verses, Bieber sticks to the confessional part of his register: You gotta go and get angry at all of my honesty/ You know I try, but I don't do to well at apologies. He's saving his voice for the hook, which he imbues with extra angst: Is it too late now to say sorry?
Bieber shared his single with a clip full of brightly-attired women executing tightly-choreographed moves in front of a white backdrop. Watch above. If you prefer a more bare-bones version of the track, check out a snippet of Bieber singing the song accompanied only by Skrillex on guitar.
