Rihanna Will Return To The Big Screen In Luc Besson’s Valerian

Luc Besson made an announcement today via Instagram, posting a photo of Rihanna along with the excited caption, "RIHANNA is in VALERIAN!!!!! She has a big part!! I'm Sooo excited!!!"

These days, Besson specializes in vengeful thrillers: see the Transformer and Taken franchises. According to Variety, Valerian "adapts Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mezieres' graphic novel and unfolds in the 28th century when humanity discovered time travel." Clive Owen and Cara Delevingne are also supposed to act in the flim, which is scheduled for release in the summer of 2017.
