Missy Elliott Returns With A Kinetic Video For “WTF (Where They From)”

Missy Elliott reemerged today with the clip for "WTF (Where They From)," a new single that is minimal and movement-compelling. Pharrell is involved with "WTF," and there are echoes of his forceful Puff Daddy collaboration "Finna Get Loose." But "WTF" is more modern, with long, hollow cascades of bass.

Dave Meyers directed the "WTF" video along with Missy, and the two filled the clip with vigorous dancing. Missy occasionally wears an amazing, silver-plated jump suit that lights up, while Pharrell makes his appearance as marionette and raps about Transformers. Watch above.
