89 people were killed in the terrorist attack on Bataclan concert hall during an Eagles Of Death Metal concert last Friday. Over the weekend, a number of the murder victims were identified, including Nick Alexander, who handled the band's merchandise sales, Guillaume B. Decherf, who wrote about music for Les Inrockuptibles, and Thomas Ayad, who worked for Mercury Records.
A number of musicians who knew Alexander from past tours paid tribute to him on social media. MGMT called him "one of the nicest guys in rock." The duo's comments were echoed by the Black Keys, Fall Out Boy's Joe Trohman, and Alice In Chains.
The FADER was outside the Bataclan last night and spoke to some of the mourners to get their thoughts on the tragedy.
