The 2015 American Music Awards on ABC were fairly tiresome, but between utterly mediocre performances and somewhat awkward presenters there were some definite beacons of light. (Did you catch Celine Dion's performance of Edith Piaf's "Hymne à l'amour?" I mean, wow.)

One consistent shining star throughout the night was Nicki Minaj, who took home the awards for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album for "The Pinkprint." Here are eight ways Nicki won the American Music Awards.
