Meek Mill appeared in a Philadelphia court today allegedly on judge's orders for violating his probation. This all stems from the 2009 drug and gun convictions that put him in jail for five months. Apparently Meek did not seek appropriate travel approval that was conditioned with his probation. This morning, the rapper posted to Instagram and said he was "fighting for [his] life and freedom." (A rep for Meek Mill did not immediately return a request for comment.)
TMZ reports that he could be facing more jail time and also suggests that the travel incident in question was his appearance at the AMAs back in November.
According to The Philly Inquirer's Aubrey Whelan, Nicki Minaj appeared in court this afternoon and testified on his behalf. TMZ also reports that "Meek's lawyer told the judge his client seriously wants to marry Nicki," and that Nicki did not address that on the stand. Read Whelan's tweets below:

Nicki Minaj testified on Meek's behalf. Said she would help him with his probation -- that he might be "irresponsible" but he's growing up.

There was no decision made on whether Meek Mill has actually violated his probation - the hearing was continued until 12/17.
