Natalie Prass emerged roughly a year ago with an eponymous debut album that drew on folk, soul, and '60s pop. It was recorded with a large band, including a horn section, and meticulously arranged at Matthew E. White's Spacebomb Studios in Richmond.

Prass and White returned today with "Cool Out," which builds around a sturdy, battering ram bassline. Both singers favor a soft, breathy register, so they make a good match. DJ Harrison co-produced the track; listen above.
