Rihanna's new studio album ANTI is already being lauded as a success, having gone platinum according to the RIAA, but it's hard to forget the hiccup that occurred last Wednesday when the album preemptively found its way onto TIDAL, available to listeners. In a statement to Spin, TIDAL's Director of Marketing Grace Kim attributed the early leak to a "system error," although she maintains that she doesn't think it hurt the success of the album launch at all. Another TIDAL representative further clarified that the system error didn't occur on TIDAL's end, rather with Universal Music Group.
