James Blake Shares Stirring New Song “Modern Soul”

This evening during his BBC Radio 1 residency with his 1-800-Dinosaur label, James Blake premiered a new song called “Modern Soul.” It slaps like “The Wilhelm Scream,” with just enough discordance rumbling beneath the dubby soul to resemble something of a balance between the anxious and the chill, but not enough to stop you from feeling totally stratospheric.
