Police Arrest Man Suspected Of Killing Future’s Former Bodyguard

The suspect was apprehended in New York City.

The New York Post reports that Tywan Porter was arrested while working at a supermarket in downtown Manhattan earlier this week. Porter is suspected of shooting and killing Michael Phillips in Jonesboro, Georgia earlier this year. Phillips was formerly employed as a bodyguard for Future. The New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, which made the arrest, was apparently acting on information from a source in Georgia.
