Today Zheep revealed the first taste of his upcoming mixtape, 20/20. In an email to The FADER, the MC explained the origin of the project's title: "20/20 was me just saying: 'I have a clear, perfect vision and path of what I want to achieve in life with my team and supporters around me.' Also being able to see clearly through the fuck shit I've been through in life that made me who I am. I feel like I have an eagle vision and my focus is at an all time high." On his new track, which includes production from TM88 and a verse from Yung Rhubarb, Zheep is interested in scaling up: fuck a hundred, I'm a billion.
"Baltimore is my home," the rapper added. "I was bred into the culture and it's apart of me no matter what and always will be. I just embrace it differently than other artists from home." Listen below.
