Last year, super groovy, Leeds-based band Walleater released their fuzz-heavy debut I/II on Tiny Engines. Today these Brits are sharing the A side of their newest single. "Can You Feel My Love," which is out as a digital 45 on May 13, is a more expansive direction for the band, whose melodic refrains remind me of Swervedriver, or the best vintage Foo Fighters. It will feed your dreamiest dreams with rose-colored visions of top down rides across wood-lined streets, or running across town at 2 a.m. in the pouring rain holding hands with your one true love.
"This is what Romeo sang to Juliet before it all went to shit," Walleater told The FADER in an email. "It's one to make the lovers dance." 👯
