Skepta’s Konnichiwa Finally Has A Release Date

Last July, Skepta gave The FADER an update on his progress with Konnichiwa. "I want to find time to maybe write some deeper stuff," he noted. "Rather than just making stuff that’s always going to get people hype and shit... otherwise, I’ll just be writing about bullshit."

In March of this year, he told i-D that the record was nearly done. "I'm finishing my album Konnichiwa this week," he declared. "Finished! Done! Three years of my life encapsulated on a CD."

Today on Instagram, he assigned the album a release date—May 6. He added one other word: "Greatness." Revisit his FADER interview, and check out his tour dates below.
