Before Tupac was a global hip-hop superstar, he was just a theatre nerd with a crush. TMZ reports that an old high school classmate who caught Tupac's eye is now selling a letter the rapper gave her. Asking price: $35,000.
Read the letter and a statement from the seller here at Moments In Time. Pac met the woman in drama class—she says he was “REALLY good” at acting— and he called the woman “Beethoven” because of her piano skills (aww!).
In the letter, Pac writes “As u will soon find out, I do not spare words, I say what I feel. So if something I say scares u please don't panic because I tend 2 get over emotional...It's almost like I've known you 4 years.” He also seems happy that they both loved Prince and candles. At the bottom he shares his phone number and signs the letter “4 ETERNITY.”
The couple lost touch after school. The seller says she was never a fan of Tupac's music, saying that his public persona was “like a different person.” Damn. Call your old friends, everybody, especially if they're famous rappers.
