Aphex Twin Teases New EP With Newspaper Advertisement
Aphex Twin’s Cheetah EP is on the way.
After releasing track after track on his SoundCloud page last year, it appears Aphex Twin is gearing up for another official release. In a newspaper advertisement noticed by Norman Records, Aphex Twin and his longtime label Warp Records tease a new "product" titled the Cheetah EP. Cheetah is the name of a vintage analog synth manufacturer and was also featured in the names of multiple tracks from Aphex Twin's SoundCloud releases. The advertisement reads, "The Aphex Twin Cheetah EP uses digital sound generation techniques combined with wave sequencing technology to bring you sounds with movement and depth rarely found on records today."
Representatives for Aphex Twin and Warp Records were not immediately available for comment.
