Kevin Durant, who is currently preparing to represent the U.S. Men's Olympic basketball team in the 2016 Rio Olympics, showed off a new hip-hop inspired tattoo during a team practice earlier today. Durant caused a lot of controversy in the NBA offseason, signing with the 73-win Golden State Warriors (prompting the Lil B to lift the infamous BasedGod Curse).
It appears that Durant is intent on representing for his new home state, and region, inking a sizable image of Tupac Shakur on his left leg (right above his tattoo of the Wu-Tang Clan symbol). Durant is apparently a huge Notorious B.I.G. fan, as Warriors columnist Marcus Thompson, but the NBA star is "supremely impressed with Pac's mind at such a young age."
Durant is a huge Pac fan, I just learned. Biggie is his favorite but he is supremely impressed with Pac's mind at such a young age
