Earlier this week, Major Lazer unveiled his newest star-studded single with Justin Bieber and MØ titled "Cold Water," written by Ed Sheeran and Benny Blanco. Its debut caught the attention of Gucci Mane, who just recently released his first post-prison project Everybody Looking and hosted his "Gucci & Friends" homecoming concert in Atlanta.
According to Complex, Gucci posted a video on his Snapchat of him bopping to "Cold Water", followed by an announcement that he would be remixing the tune. Justin Bieber got excited by the support from Gucci and tweeted a screenshot of the snap.
The remix may have been completed by Friday night, as the track was reportedly debuted by Diplo in New York City during a guest appearance at Brunch Bounce, a summer party series. Apparently, attendees of the party had no idea that they were getting the exclusive first listen of the remix.
