D.C. Comics' critically-panned Suicide Squad film was released alongside August 5 alongside a soundtrack that features tracks by Grimes, Skrillex, and Lil' Wayne among others. Producer Boots has revealed that he was asked to provide music for the film itself but turned it down. According to his tweets, Boots did make some music for a Suicide Squad trailer but declined to take things further after seeing footage from the movie.
