During a recent interview on the Rap Radar podcast, 300 Entertainment founder Lyor Cohen made an announcement that left many scratching their heads. Young Thug confirmed the name change recently on Travis Scott's Beats 1 show, but said that he would only be going by the new name for a week. "I'm going by Jeffery for one week," Thug said. "If I don't sell 100,000 copies, everybody who's talking about Jeffery...Listen." Thug also said that he was temporarily pushing back the album, which was scheduled to be released Tuesday, in order to allow Travis Scott to record a verse.
