Less than a year after putting out Other Death, Montreal retro pop troubadour Sean Nicholas Savage is back with a brand new project. But Magnificent Fist isn't just a surprise release; it's got a new format too. The project's nine velvety tracks are presented as "bespoke" videos. Savage's vocals are more polished than ever but, according to a statement on his website, the visuals are intentionally vague: "[I] wanted to have visuals for every song immediately, and that the visuals left much to the imagination. [T]here is boredom and silence in them, and lucky me those videos are more fun to make...I put out the happy takes, full of mistakes."
