Apple announced on Wednesday that the headphone jack would not be a part of its new iPhone 7 or 7+ phones. Instead there will be headsets that plug into the phone's Lightning port, the same one that is used for charging. This means that Apple has effectively killed off aux cord DJs and the glory days of passing the cord around the car. Uber rides will never be the same. Needless to say, some people on Twitter are extremely upset by the news.
