After a hectic premiere of Kanye West's Yeezy Season 4, the G.O.O.D. Music family announced a surprise pop-up show at the Highline Ballroom in New York City. Travis Scott, Migos, Desiigner, Pusha T, and Tyga were all on the bill, and it seems like the night has yielded a few major surprises already.
According to FADER writers at the concert, Kanye West announced that Tyga has been signed to G.O.O.D. Music, while Pusha T broke the news that the label had also signed Migos to G.O.O.D. Music management. The singings have also been confirmed by Complex, XXL, and Genius.
Since 2014, Migos have been signed to Atlanta independent rap label Quality Control, who inked a deal with 300 in the same year that put the New York company in charge of promotion and distribution for the group. It appeared that Migos had parted ways with 300 Entertainment in September 2015, after the release of Young Rich Nation, their third and final obligatory release with the label. However, in that same month, 300 Entertainment CEO Lyor Cohen denied these claims, saying, "Migos is still under contract. They're still part of the 300 family."
Representatives for Migos, Tyga, and G.O.O.D. Music were not immediately available for comment.
