In a cover story on Marc Jacobs in Billboard, the designer shared a promotional video for his fall campaign featuring an eclectic array of artists. Missy Elliott, Susan Sarandon, Marilyn Manson, Cara Delevingne, and more star in the Hype Williams-directed clip. Set to a soundtrack of Larry Levan’s mix to Man Friday’s “Love Honey, Love Heartache” all the participants dance, rock poses, and throw serious looks against a black background.
Director Hype Williams told Billboard about the video's feeling, saying,
"The clothes had a rhythm that reminded me of Limelight," says Williams, referencing a bygone New York club that had its heyday in the early '90s. "The music we picked represents that era and Larry Levan, [a DJ who] was a genius at what he did; he shaped club culture."
