Toronto's Rosemary Fairweather often shares trippy, catchy music swathed in gauzy, stunned emotion on Soundcloud. But her new song "Like A 45," premiering today on The FADER, proves that dream-pop doesn't have to be passive; Fairweather's breathy vocals conduct the track to a rising excitement, housed in an intimate and ghostly disco. Via email, Fairweather described it as "...a pop song about waiting around to listen to a record with someone. It's also a reference to the beauty of vinyl." Heavenly - A Collection of Songs drops this fall.
