You can now follow Kanye West on Instagram. In March of this year, The FADER made a report on how Kanye West was plotting to join the social media platform under @kanyewest. Earlier today, Hypetrak reported that Kanye West finally claimed the white-listed account, and it's been gaining thousands of followers since its genesis. There are no posts on the profile yet, but we can expect Kanye's sole artistic vision as he's tweeted, "no one can ask me or try to tell me what to Instagram... It's my art..." Follow the @kanyewest account now.
At 11:23 a.m. EST, Kanye West posted the first Instagram to his brand new account. The image is a still from 1990 film Total Recall, directed by Paul Verhoeven and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. View above.
