Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation has partnered with the Global Partnership for Education and Global Citizen on a new initiative designed at supporting and promoting education across the world.
“I feel strongly that all children everywhere should be afforded the opportunity of a quality education,” Rihanna said in a statement outlining plans to advocate for more than a quarter of a billion children around the world who are not in education.
“Therefore I’m proud to announce Clara Lionel Foundation’s partnership with education advocacy leaders like the Global Partnership for Education and Global Citizen. Working together, I know we can amplify our efforts and ensure that millions of children gain access to education globally.”
In her role as Global Ambassador, Rihanna will aim to reach more than 60 developing countries, prioritizing children in conflict and crisis areas. This is the latest philanthropic effort from RiRi, who earlier this year launched her own college scholarship program.
