Hear Mary J. Blige’s New Single “Thick Of It” Now

A week after kicking off her Apple Music interview series The 411 with a Hillary Clinton sitdown, Mary. J Blige has shared a new single, "Thick Of It." The song is a soul-soaked, powerhouse ballad about a relationship on the rocks. As the accompanying iTunes description puts it, "This is classic MJB, transforming drama into cathartic release."

The single is expected to show up on Mary's forthcoming Strength of a Woman album, her first full-length since 2014's The London Sessions. Though the album has no official release date, Mary has teased details in recent months, including a Kanye West collaboration.
