Last month, Montreal rapper Izzy-S created a minor stir in his city with the foreboding traphouse banger "Jugg." Swiftly building on the success of that track, Izzy-S is back with "Real," a swirling street anthem that codifies the gusty-voiced rapper's personal credo: J'ai jamais snitch, j'ai jamais switch, which translates to something like, "I never snitched, I never switched." In the video for "Real" he marauds around his neighborhood of Saint-Michel under grey skies, waving a Haitian flag, with an adorable chihuahua nestled in his Gucci bag as companion.
