After hinting at an upcoming mixtape release in October, YG took to Twitter today to make the announcement official. "Black Friday ain't black this year. I'm painted that bitch RED," he wrote before clarifying. "RED FRIDAY MIXTAPE 11/25."
The Compton rapper released his Still Brazy album in June and recently addressed the killing of black Americans at the hands of law enforcement on "One Time Comin." Red Friday will be YG's first solo mixtape since 2013's Just Re'd Up 2. "Promised I wasn't droppin no more mixtape. But I was once told Promises R made to be broken," he tweeted last week.
