Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump both held rallies in Raleigh, North Carolina yesterday, November 3, with success in the state set to be key in next week's election. Clinton brought both Pharrell and Bernie Sanders with her to the rally as she tried to appeal to voters. The trio arrived on stage to the sound of Pharrell's "Happy" before both men spoke on Clinton's behalf to a crowd of over 5,000 supporters.
“It makes me angry when people say she can’t lead our country because she’s a woman," USA Today reports Pharrell said. "How dare anyone question a woman’s ability? Every person on this planet was brought into this world by a woman. Women carry so much every day, including us for nine months,” he continued. “Don’t we call the planet Mother Earth?"
