Following the election of Donald Trump, thousands of students from schools around the United States have walked out of classrooms in protest on Wednesday. Around 1,500 students walked out of Berkeley High School, as shown in the video above. Students at Oakland Technical High School and other Bay Area schools also joined in the walk out.
In Des Moines, Iowa, students at Roosevelt High School and East High School walked out class carrying signs and Mexican flags. Students from Carl Hayden, Metro Tech, North and Central High Schools in Phoenix, Arizona also coordinated their own protest. See videos and pictures of student walk outs across the country.
