Aminé's breakout hit "Caroline" is a joyful, Tarantino-referencing ode to a fun as hell, mighty fine gal. However, the Portland rapper took a more serious approach to his T.V. debut on The Tonight Show last night. He started his performance as you may expect, opening up the song on a keyboard covered in bananas before the introduction of his live band and backing vocalists.
Toward the end of the track though he changed up the lyrics and criticized President-elect, Donald Trump, directly. 9/11, a day that we're never forgetting, 11/9, a day that we're all regretting he rhymed. You can never make America great again, all you ever did was make this country hate again.
Check out his performance above now.
