Mistah F.A.B. is an Oakland ambassador with deep roots in the scene that extend back to his early days with Mac Dre's Thizz Entertainment. Earlier this year, he dropped off a tribute to the icon with "Still Feelin' It," an update on the hyphy era anthem, "Feelin' Myself."
For the remix though, Fabby's recruited an all-star cast to truly pay tribute to the legend. The seven-man remix features mostly spitters from the region's new generation, with Iamsu, Ezale, Nef the Pharaoh, G-Eazy all lending guest verses, but rounds out the cast with vets Keak da Sneak and Snoop. Produced, like the original, by Sean T, the track even briefly dips into classics "N.E.W. Oakland" and "Get Stupid" for good measure.
