In July, 21 Savage and Metro Boomin — two of hip-hop's brightest young stars — released the collaborative album Savage Mode. And it was flames. With huge songs like "No Heart" and the Future-featuring "X" and a general air of simmering menace, it fulfilled the potential that Savage had been steadily flashing, and marked some of the best production work of Metro's already-illustrious career.

Good news, then: as The FADER reports in our brand new cover story on Savage, the two pals have been back in the studio since Savage Mode, and have knocked out 20-30 new songs. There's no official plans as to a release date, or a name. But keep an eye out — there's a possible Savage Mode 2 out there.
