YG's Red Friday is slated to drop this Friday, and this afternoon, he took to Twitter to announce some key details on the release. The announcement includes a flyer for a signing and meet-and-greet event in Oakland this Friday, and bills the tape as "the world's 2nd $100 CD."

Presumably, that's a reference to Nipsey Hussle, who pioneered the model by selling his own album Crenshaw for $100 back in 2013. The Oakland event will take place at Marshawn Lynch's Beastmode store, with 1400 copies of the album available in total. A rep for YG did not immediately respond to The FADER's request for comment.
