The Release Date For Tupac Biopic All Eyez On Me Has Been Announced

Karen Civil has reported that All Eyez On Me, the new biopic of Tupac Shakur, will be released on June 16, 2017. The film's producer L.T. Hutton announced the release date — also Tupac's birthday — at a recent party. The film was originally scheduled to hit theaters in November after delays due to song licensing issues.

All Eyez On Me is directed by Benny Boom, and stars Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Tupac. Recently, Anthony Hemingway, the director of The People Vs. O.J. Simpson, announced a new true crime series based on the murders of Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. called Unsolved.
